@Phizzy: You probably don't even see it, but your response is similar to the Watchtowers response to 'apostate material'. Your warning to fellow Jwners is quite frankly comical.. The link I posted was for the benefit of people who are capable of looking at both sides of an issue before forming their own opinion. I have enough respect for the intelligience of some of the people here to leave it at that. Why you felt the need to send out a 'warning', as though nobody can decide for themselves if the site is deceptive.. and then denounce all of the material on the site as a waste of time and even 'laughable', without giving even a single example to prove your point.. I don't know. The final line of your post seems to be a fine example of the degree of logical thought and articulation that you are capable of. And Nolaws' response isn't even worthy of one.. It doesn't even make sense. I wish you both well, though, all the same.

Updating the NWT again

i could not believe my ears when my father told me recently that his circuit overseer (2 weeks ago) said that there are 5 scriptures that the society is going to revise.

has anyone else heard of this?

if any of them have to with jesus i am going to tell my parents to run not walk out the kingdom hall, yikes!

She's trying to make her a publisher...

soooo, i've been sudying the bible with a 10 year old girl for two years now...her mother recently got baptised.

since i've been having doubts about the org i've centered our discussions on god and the bible and less on pleasing the org...i was doing fine.... until i invited an older pioneer sister to accompany me on the study....heeeeeeesh...she changed the topic from having manners to becoming an unbaptised publisher....she went onnnnn and onnnnn about "don't you want to please jehovah and jesus, wouldn't you like to put in a form every month and you do love jehovah and want to tell others about him,right?

" i was so upset.. i treat and love this girl as if she was my little sister and i do not want her to nose dive into this religion...she's a child for god's sake!.
